Key Responsibilities:
Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing learning environment
Support social-emotional, physical, and cognitive development
Observe and document developmental milestones
Communicate effectively with families and provide regular updates
Supervise assistant teachers and promote teamwork
Maintain licensing and accreditation standards (including Texas Rising Star, if applicable)
Qualifications:
CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
1–2+ years of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting
Strong understanding of child development and classroom management
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Positive, reliable, and collaborative team player
