Teaching location and hours are subject to change during employment with WCJC to meet department/division needs to ensure student success. Pay for this position is based on a 9 month contract (Masters: $49,550 - $54,550; Doctorate: $56,050-61,050). The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline. Supervision is received from appropriate supervisor. The faculty member works to insure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students.
Requirements
Minimum of a master’s degree (in Math or related discipline) and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Math from a regionally accredited institution.
Meeting the minimum requirements for teaching at the post‑secondary level set by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and accrediting agencies for individual programs if applicable.
A criminal background check is required.
