American Greetings invites you to join our team as a Part‑time Merchandiser in Prestonburg, KY.
Job Description As a merchandiser, you will work independently at multiple retail locations to display and maintain inventory of our celebrations products, including greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, and plush items.
Pay
Starting pay $12.60 per hour, increasing to $13.30 after 6 months, and $14.00 after 1 year.

Weekly average hours: 15 per week, up to 20 during holiday periods.
Ideal candidate available daytime hours, especially Monday mornings.
Availability for additional working days and extended hours during major holidays.
Primary Responsibilities
Serve assigned stores by merchandising, organizing product orders, displaying items in greeting card departments and other retail areas, and maintaining an organized backroom.
Communicate questions or concerns regarding service or schedules to management.
Apply effective time‑management and organizational skills in a fast‑paced retail environment.
Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime business hours.
Assist with store resets, including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as requested.
Review, plan weekly service schedule and workload, and use company‑issued tablet as required.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
18 years or older.
English language proficiency (speak, read, write).
Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Reliable transportation to cover multiple locations.
Reliable internet access for job information and updates.
Technological competency and ability to use a company tablet.
Scheduling flexibility (occasional weekends and major holidays).
No prior experience required; paid training provided.
Physical Demands Work includes standing, walking, stooping, squatting, and lifting/carrying merchandise up to 40 pounds on the sales floor and in backrooms. A step stool may be used.
