General Laborer Job Summary Laborers are focused on the general upkeep and maintenance of our yard/site in all weather conditions. Must be able to function a smart device and adapt to our inventory technology. A typical workday begins at 5:00 am - 1:30pm. Required work hours are determined upon the workload of the day. Work hours vary by site and are typically 8-10 hours per day.
Note: General Laborer/Yard Maintenance Technicians are trained in all areas yard/site operations to include pressure washing assets, data entry, inventory management, plastic welding, and driving. Tasks may vary daily and are prioritized upon operation necessity.
Duties and Responsibilities
Pressure washing (50%) and repairing, sorting, and inspecting of waste/recycling containers (50%)
Inventory management of waste/recycling containers (including data entry)
Operating forklifts is a plus but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Requires pushing, pulling, and lifting 50 pounds or more and pushing or pulling up to 450 pounds on wheels.
