The primary role of an iLUKA Host is to act as an ambassador representing our client’s brand and to deliver exceptional, memorable hospitality experiences to all guests who join us on our global events. Hosts can be deployed in a variety of settings and the focus of the role will vary slightly depending upon the environment.
This is a contract role starting on 14th July 2026 and ending on 21st July 2026. To apply you must be bilingual in English and Arabic and be based in New York.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver an exceptional hospitality experience to the client’s guests.
Understand guest touch points and provide a friendly, welcoming meet‑and‑greet service.
Be the first point of contact and greet guests on arrival.
Manage and organise guest groups to ensure they are in the right place at the right time.
Accompany guests throughout their journey and effectively resolve any issues or problems that arise.
Provide information and assistance to guests at all stages of the programme.
Deliver outstanding customer service and create a friendly, fun, guest‑focused environment.
Coordinate guest departures as their experience draws to a close.
This is not an exhaustive list, and all team members will be expected to contribute to any other aspects of the business as necessary.
Specific Responsibilities by Environment Airport
Act as first point of contact for guests arriving at the airport and provide a friendly, welcoming meet‑and‑greet service.
Act as the last point of contact for guest departures.
Manage guest lists.
Ensure a smooth transition through the airport and hand guests over to the transport host teams.
Hotel/Desk/Lounge
Man the hospitality desk to check in guests to the hotel/hospitality programme, provide information and assistance in the hotel regarding the local area and specific programme.
Enrich the overall guest experience while in the hotel.
Hospitality Venue
Meet and greet guests in a friendly, welcoming manner.
Ensure the venue is immaculately presented.
Provide assistance to the venue teams as needed.
Support FB/Lounge team on elements of FB within the lounge.
Event /Coach
Provide information and assistance to guests at all points of contact, whether at the hotel, on the coach (Executive Bus/Vehicle) or at venues.
Accompany assigned guests daily throughout their programme.
Manage guest lists.
Meet and greet guests in a friendly, welcoming manner.
Provide information and assistance to guests as required.
Accompany guests on their journey and ensure a smooth transition to other host teams on arrival at the destination.
Venue/Showcasing
Manage and organise the safe and efficient flow of guests through the venue.
Provide VIP reception services/cloakroom services.
Manage queue and crowd issues safely.
Provide information and assistance to guests as required.
Skills, Knowledge, Expertise
Fluent in English and Arabic.
Experience using smartphones/tablets.
Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.
A fun, ‘Can‑Do’ attitude.
Confidence to manage and engage with groups of people in a variety of settings.
Ability to think on your feet and resolve problems calmly and efficiently.
A desire to deliver the very best levels of customer service.
High energy, comfortable working potentially long hours in a demanding but rewarding and friendly environment.
Flexible, enthusiastic, confident, outgoing, well‑organised.
