Shakopee Public Schools is searching for a Long Term Substitute (LTS) to teach Social Studies at East Middle School from approximately February 4, 2026 through April 1, 2026.
Job Summary:
Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student's ability
Creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth
Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents
Works collaboratively with other staff members
Qualifications:
Valid MN teaching license in Social Studies
Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction
Strong classroom management skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff
