CHAPLAIN POOL - HFM, HFMH - SPIRITUAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT
Location: US:WI:MANITOWOC at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital. This position is ON SITE. FTE: 0.001000. Standard Hours: 0.01. Shift: Tuesday 8pm to 6am and every 2nd weekend of the month. Applicants should reside within 30 minutes of the hospital.
Job Summary: The Chaplain provides spiritual care to patients, families, and hospital personnel. Duties include weeknight, weekend, and holiday call coverage. Documentation with Epic is required.
Qualifications: • Active Faith Community or Chaplaincy Experience Preferred. • Theological education from a CHEA member organization. • Education must satisfy Board Certification in Chaplaincy (BCC) from the Association of Professional Chaplains, National Association of Catholic Chaplains, or similar national certification. • 1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by ACPE, NACC, or equivalent is preferred. • Master of Divinity preferred. • Must be informed of Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives and work within the values and boundaries found therein (site specific). • Written ecclesiastical endorsement by a faith group is preferred. • Certified in the Association of Professional Chaplains, the National Association of Catholic Chaplains, or similar national certification organization is preferred. • Ordination or commissioning to function in a ministry of spiritual care by an appropriate religious authority is preferred.
