Location A sun‑filled urban oasis in the heart of Los Angeles, the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills offers a resort‑style pool, award‑winning Italian cuisine at Culina Ristorante, and wellness facilities, all in an iconic setting. The role is based at this flagship property in Beverly Hills.
What We Expect Job duties include but are not limited to:
Prepare food items according to guest orders with consistent quality, following recipe cards and production, portion, and presentation standards; complete mise en place and set‑up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service.
Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to prepare beyond estimated needs.
Operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill.
Date all food containers and rotate per policies; keep perishable items at proper temperatures; check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull, and line set up; note any out‑of‑stock items or possible shortages; return unused food items to designated storage; assist in setting up plans to correct food cost problems; control food waste, loss, and usage per policies.
Ideal Candidate Will Have
1 to 3 years of experience in a similar kitchen or hotel operation.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accomplish all responsibilities, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
Legal work authorization to work in the United States.
