Waldorf Astoria is looking for an Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to join the Park City team. With 150 rooms, 4,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets, this award‑winning Forbes 4‑Star boutique property offers elevated comfort food inspired by mountain regions from around the world.
In this role you will oversee front‑of‑house food and beverage operations for a 3‑meal restaurant, seasonal pool restaurant, banquet operations, and 24‑hour in‑room dining. You will manage a team of over 70 in season and report directly to the Director of Food & Beverage. The ideal candidate is an exceptional, driven leader with a passion for developing and inspiring others and excellent at building teams. Minimum of 3‑5 years of F&B management experience required with a luxury background strongly preferred.
What will I be doing?
Assist in the management of all Food and Beverage operations, including guest service, food and beverage quality, inventory management, outlet reservations and occupancy, systems management, budget and forecasting, marketing, report generation, department management, and meeting participation and facilitation.
Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, professional development, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, and recognition.
Develop and implement menus and food and beverage marketing strategies in partnership with the Director of Food & Beverage and the culinary team.
Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues, and make improvements.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.
Recruit, interview, and train team members.
