About the Role We’re seeking a Regional Assistant Dean of Clinical Education to provide academic and operational leadership across one of our designated regions (West, Midwest/Central, or South/Southeast). In this role, you will champion high-quality clinical experiences, support faculty development, build strong partnerships with clinical sites, and ensure excellence across all aspects of clinical education.
Reporting to the Associate Dean of Experiential Learning, you’ll lead a team of Clinical Leads and faculty who share your commitment to student-centered excellence, evidence-based practice, and collaborative problem solving.

What You’ll Do Lead with Purpose
Support and model Joyce University’s mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision for Clinical Leads and faculty in your region.
Teach classes as needed to ensure continuity and coverage.
Advance Clinical Excellence
Oversee scheduling and delivery of high-quality student clinical experiences.
Collaborate with the clinical placement team to secure, sustain, and grow clinical partnerships.
Coordinate site contracts and ensure compliance with state and regulatory standards.
Serve as a trusted liaison between regional clinical partners and university leadership.
Support Faculty Growth & Student Success
Provide development, coaching, and performance guidance for faculty.
Foster an environment rooted in inquiry, collaboration, and evidence-based practice.
Monitor learning outcomes and faculty effectiveness to support continuous improvement.
Ensure Accreditation & Operational Strength
Lead regional accreditation preparation and clinical capacity planning.
Prepare and contribute to reports, briefings, presentations, and strategic initiatives.
Participate in university events such as pinning ceremonies, graduations, and community engagements.

Qualifications Required
Registered Nurse license in Utah or your regional work location
Master’s degree in Nursing
5+ years of nursing clinical experience
2–3 years of teaching experience
American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers
Preferred
Doctorate in Nursing or related field
Location: Regional (West, Midwest/Central, or South/Southeast)
Employment Type: Full‑time, Exempt
Travel: Up to 75%
