Game Day Food and Beverage Catering Chef
We are seeking a talented and organized Catering Chef to lead culinary production for ballpark catering events, suites, VIP areas, and special functions. This role is perfect for a chef who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys creating memorable dining experiences for guests at one of the most energetic venues in town.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and execute catering menus for suites, premium areas, team events, and private functions
Oversee food production, presentation, and quality standards for all catered events
Train and supervise kitchen staff and prep teams during events
Notify Management of low inventory and assist with managing food costs effectively
Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations are followed
Manage kitchen workflow and timing to ensure seamless service
Set up and break down catering kitchens and service areas as needed
Coordinate with frontofhouse staff to ensure a smooth guest experience
Adapt quickly to tight timelines and changing event needs
Qualifications
Previous experience as a chef, banquet chef, or catering lead required
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple events and large‑scale production
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Experience working in high‑volume or sports/entertainment venues is a plus
Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays during the season
