About The Opportunity
Adjunct Faculty position in the Department of Safety Sciences at the College of Aviation, Prescott, Arizona campus of Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University. The role supports undergraduate students in electives and minors focused on aviation safety. Responsibilities
Develop instructional content and teach 1–2 in‑person courses per semester; courses include Introduction to Aerospace Safety, Human Factors in Aviation Safety, or Safety Program Management. Assess student performance and provide feedback. Participate in curriculum development and contribute to course offerings for Fall and Spring semesters, beginning Fall 2025. Qualifications
Master’s degree in Safety Science, Aviation, Aeronautics or a closely related discipline required; PhD strongly preferred. Teaching experience significant; aviation industry experience and FAA certifications desirable. Must submit cover letter, curriculum vitae, unofficial transcripts and three professional references.
