REGAL BISTRO BAR TENDER Miami, FL

Responsibilities

Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.

Mix liquor and drink ingredients according to company recipes and measures.

Serve guests in a cheerful and courteous manner, and display a neat and clean professional image.

Maintain a neat and clean, properly stocked bar.

Verify correct pricing for drinks.

Serve food according to the Server Job Description requisites.

Be knowledgeable of drink promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions clearly.

Accurately enter orders into the POS system in a timely manner.

Assess guests’ demeanor, identify intoxicated guests, and determine when to summon a manager.

Collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards), ensure transactions are correct via the POS, and calculate & deliver correct change promptly.

Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, and assigned sidework.

Qualifications

Physically able to stand/walk continuously during shifts.

Can reach, bend, stoop, stir, wipe, and shake drinks vigorously.

Can immerse hands in water frequently.

Able to lift up to 50 lb.

Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.

Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc.

Complete and pass the Florida Responsible Vendor program in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes.

Complete and pass the Florida Food Safety certification Vendor program in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes.

Ability to request proper identification and determine guests’ age manually.

Five‑day work week.
