Atlantic Fields Club
Atlantic Fields is seeking a Dishwasher to join the Food & Beverage Culinary Department at Atlantic Fields, located outside of Hobe Sound, FL. The Dishwasher is responsible for operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools, washing dishes and kitchen vessels, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and detailing equipment, and keeping the kitchen, dishwashing, and back areas inspection‑ready according to local authority and club guidelines. This role is part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and employees.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain sanitation standards in all kitchen work areas by cleaning dishes, sweeping kitchen work areas, and removing trash.
Provide clean cooking utensils for the F&B operations and ensure that all utensils and equipment are clean, dry, and correctly stored in designated areas.
Maintain safety, proper storage of chemicals, and chemical concentration logs.
Daily set up of china, glassware, and silverware items for all outlets.
Participate as a team player with other key team members.
Attend department briefings to communicate necessary information.
Complete all opening/closing procedures as instructed.
Assist with execution of departmental objectives and goals.
Monitor inventory levels through regular inventory checks.
Maintain all equipment and ensure it is properly handled and maintained.
Cleans and maintains floors and walls in kitchen and dishwashing area by following standard procedures.
Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order.
Wash, wipe, sort, stack, and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner.
Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the Executive Chef.
Always maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Adhere to all company policy and procedures.
Comply with all government, safety, health, and security standards throughout the department.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Three (3) months prior experience at a high‑end restaurant, resort, or private club required.
Culinary degree/certification or relevant on‑job experience recommended.
Additional Requirements
Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
Must be able to work flexible hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
