What You'll Do Lead all aspects of Front Office operations by setting and maintaining a high level of guest service.
Provide timely and courteous service to all guests, encouraging them to return and generate repeat business.
Assist guests upon check‑in and provide great service throughout their stay, ensuring all functions are carried out in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Meet with staff at the start of each shift to review the Front Desk logbook.
Review arrivals and departures, noting special requests and ensuring accurate billing; assess guest relocations if needed.
Ensure shifts are covered as scheduled and cover additional shifts as necessary.
Follow key‑control policy, credit policies, and be knowledgeable of all fire and emergency procedures.
Complete the desk agents’ AM/PM checklist.
Handle guest situations calmly and professionally.
Lead by example in all employee duties.
Maintain professional telephone contact with all hotel departments.
Ensure accuracy of groups, rooming lists, billing, amenities, arrivals, etc.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of back office, front desk, and front desk closet, and inventory office supplies.
Counsel and coach employees, using accurate documentation and techniques.
Ensure all employees complete their duties before departing and are posted at their stations on time.
Train and monitor all service levels, ensuring team members follow grooming and uniform standards.
Meet or stay under payroll and expense budgets.
Requirements
2 years of related experience in hospitality or a similar industry.
High School Diploma preferred.
Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
