Hotel Overview The Vineta Hotel, originally opened in 1926, is an example of Mediterranean Revival architecture. A top‑to‑bottom renovation has brought the original name back, and the property now offers stylish décor, contemporary comfort, and world‑class cuisine.
Missions The Restaurant Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages in a fast‑paced high‑energy environment, collaborating closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure an exceptional experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean, organized bar.
Greet, interact, and engage with guests, creating a friendly atmosphere.
Recommend drinks and cocktails based on guests’ preferences, entering orders accurately.
Create, prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages.
Collaborate with kitchen and service staff and other bartenders during busy periods.
Assist in training new bartenders and provide guidance on menu and service standards.
Ensure compliance with all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness.
Dispose of waste properly and remove trash regularly.
Monitor guests’ alcohol consumption and follow responsible service guidelines.
Handle guest complaints or special requests promptly.
Stay current on bar trends, drink recipes, and pairing recommendations.
Know ingredients and preparation methods for a wide variety of cocktails.
Assist in opening and closing the bar, including cleaning and inventory checks.
Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
Build morale and resolve problems to the satisfaction of guests and staff.
Maintain personal appearance and hygiene standards.
Inspire creativity and exceptional service to enhance the restaurant’s luxury ambience.
What You Bring
Minimum 3 years of work experience in a similar capacity with an understanding of luxury hotel standards.
Full‑time position; ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
Passionate about food and beverage, with a strong knowledge of international fine dining and beverage standards.
Outstanding relationship‑building skills and the ability to create a lasting impression.
Self‑motivated, decisive, responsible, and goal‑oriented.
Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
