Automotive Sales Receptionist – Empire Automotive Group
Location: Empire GMC Cadillac, Long Island City, Queens, NY
Pay Range $20.00/hr – $23.00/hr
Job Description We’re looking for a personable and professional Sales Receptionist to serve as the welcoming voice and smile of our sales department.
As the first impression that inspires lasting loyalty, you will greet customers, answer incoming calls, handle outbound follow‑up calls, and manage daily appointments using the dealership’s CRM. You’ll collaborate with dealership staff to resolve customer concerns and ensure exceptional service.
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 am – 7:00 pm. Flexibility for holidays and weekends if needed.
Responsibilities
Greet customers and answer incoming calls with professionalism and warmth.
Conduct outbound follow‑up calls to ensure a positive customer experience.
Review, confirm, and reschedule daily appointments; complete daily call activities.
Monitor and organize customer concerns, escalating to management when appropriate.
Address customer issues promptly using the dealership’s CRM, phone, text, and email channels.
Build and maintain trust with both customers and team members.
Accurately document and track customer concerns through to resolution.
Proactively engage customers by identifying their needs before being prompted.
Collaborate with fellow dealership staff to resolve customer questions and concerns.
Develop a strong understanding of the manufacturer’s standards for customer satisfaction.
Ensure valid payment is collected, properly authorized for the correct amount, and accurately recorded in daily reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (required).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Professional appearance and demeanor in business attire, representing Empire with confidence.
Strong listening skills and empathetic approach to customer interactions.
Solid work ethic; able to thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment.
Proven track record delivering exceptional customer service through trust‑building and a focus on satisfaction.
Minimum one year of experience in customer‑facing or phone‑based service roles as a receptionist.
Friendly, enthusiastic, reliable with a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
Receptive to constructive feedback and committed to ongoing personal development.
Availability Monday–Friday, with flexibility to support holidays and weekends if needed.
Proficient multitasker with strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Maintains a clean, organized, and detail‑oriented workspace.
