Full-Time AM Foodservice Worker

Position: Full Time Food Service – 6:00 am – 2:30 pm shift, 40 hrs/week. Sign‑on bonus: $2,500.
Prairie St. John's is a new state‑of‑the‑art behavioral health facility with 132 beds, providing inpatient, day treatment, and intensive outpatient services.
This position will be every other weekend and is a valuable member of our team and Prairie family, helping us save lives, change lives, and offer hope for the future.
Responsibilities
Expresses good customer service skills to problem solve or contacts manager if needed
Inventory management in the kitchen and patient care areas
Orders stock and supplies as needed through dietary manager
Assists in unloading trucks
Delivers food and dietary supplies to floors as requested
Produces and assembles trays for patients
Follows sanitation and safety guidelines ensuring work area is clean
Provides daily equipment cleaning and reports faulty equipment to management
Assists with maintenance of departmental equipment and supplies
Washes dishes and other kitchen items as needed
Organizes workflow and efficiently prioritizes work assignments
Accurately uses a thermometer to ensure proper temperatures for holding and storing foods
Trains new and temporary employees for various foodservice positions
Qualifications
Previous food service work
Customer service skills
