Part-Time
Counselors.
Position Summary The Part-Time Counselor Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide quality case management and psychotherapeutic services to patients and their families
Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team supporting the organization’s treatment program and philosophy
Lead patient groups and document notes which clearly explain patient's participation and progress
Available Schedule Evening
Qualifications Education : Master’s degree in a behavioral science or mental health related field required.
Experience : Clinical experience in an inpatient and outpatient mental health setting preferred. Possess general knowledge of all areas of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment.
Age-Specific Competencies : Adult
Licensure/Certification : CPR and CPI certification training provided upon hire. Must possess current state licensure and/or certification to work in IOP/PHP Program.
Other : Ability to relate well with treatment professionals; ability to mobilize and coordinate staff resources; skills in dealing courteously with the public and individuals within the organization and counseling centers; organizational skills; ability to keep information highly confidential; ability to meet deadlines; basic data entry skills preferred; time management skills.
HIPAA : Has access to and adds information to the Medical Record. May only access medical record of assigned patients.
