Job Purpose

The Department of Modern Languages and Literature at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, is seeking an instructor to teach the elementary Arabic language sequence using a communicative approach. The successful candidate will have the enthusiasm, classroom presence and skills to engage students in their language learning and should be committed to pursuing excellence in teaching and promoting an inclusive learning environment. Essential Functions

Teach the elementary Arabic language sequence using a communicative approach. Plan, deliver, and assess course assignments and grading via Canvas. Provide feedback to students during lab assignments and submit mid‑semester and final grades.
