Job Description We are seeking a friendly and organized Reservation Agent/ Group Coordinator to join our team in 6th of October City, Egypt. In this role, you will be responsible for managing individual and group reservations, ensuring a smooth booking process, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.
Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online booking platforms
Coordinate group bookings, including room blocks, meeting spaces, and special requests
Provide detailed information about our accommodations, amenities, and local attractions
Assist guests with modifying or canceling reservations
Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met
Process payments and manage billing for individual and group reservations
Generate and distribute daily reservation reports
Respond to guest inquiries and resolve booking-related issues promptly
Upsell room upgrades and additional services when appropriate
Stay updated on local events and promotions to inform guests
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field preferred
Previous experience in the hospitality or travel industry is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and empathetic demeanor
Proficiency in reservation systems and booking software
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Problem-solving skills to address guest concerns and booking issues
Basic math skills for handling payments and group rates
Knowledge of local attractions and services in 6th of October City and surrounding areas
Familiarity with travel and tourism industry trends
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
