The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Centers make a difference in people’s lives. Through the collection and resale of gently used goods we provide financial support to assist men and women with a variety of social and spiritual afflictions. The in-residence rehabilitation program focuses on basic necessities with every individual receiving a clean and healthy living environment, good food, work therapy, leisure time activities, group and individual counseling, and spiritual direction. All efforts focus on developing life skills and a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. More than a job, each team member contributes to recycling goods that literally recycle and repair broken lives. Location
Lewiston, ME Duties
The Donation Center Attendant will receive and record (per policy) all donated material courteously and efficiently. Safeguard all donated material and assigned equipment. Advise donors of unacceptable materials. Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the donation center and surrounding area. Sort and load trailers. Ensure that no unauthorized personnel enter the Donation Center, and that no merchandise is kept, sold, or otherwise diverted without direction from Administrators. Report complaints, damage, and unsafe conditions to supervisor immediately. Qualifications
Good verbal and written communication skills. Good customer service skills. Benefits
