We are seeking a
CMT Field Technician
to join our Fort Worth, TX team! ACI and HMA certifications required. Come join us!
Job Responsibilities
Driving to and from job sites
Collection of various samples
Performing quality assurance tests and observations
Preparing and submitting daily reports
Interacting with clients, contractors, and other engineering professionals
Minimum Requirements
Required Certifications:
ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician – Grade I
SB102
Must have a valid Driver’s License
0‑5 year(s) experience working in the construction industry
Experience reading and comprehending plans, specifications, and test procedures
Working knowledge of asphalt pavements
Highway or building construction experience and a proven history of working well with contractors and owners to accomplish construction tasks is preferred
Technical Requirements
1A and 1B certifications a must
Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel Spreadsheets
Knowledge of TXDOT testing procedures relating to asphalt materials
Proficiency in preparing and documenting test result in accordance with TXDOT standards and project requirements
Other Miscellaneous Qualities
Ability to travel, 20% of the time
Ability to use and navigate Site Manager and Metafield is a plus
Must be willing to transition from field testing and inspection duties to laboratory test responsibilities as needed
Must be willing to work "off hours" when needed and up to 60 hours per week as needed
