Restaurant Server – Beach House

Overview The Server anticipated start date is August 11, 2025.
Responsibilities
Greet and serve guests in accordance with South Seas standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and sanitation, in a gracious and professional manner.
Perform direct communication and hospitality procedures with all guests daily.
Pre-shift with fellow staff and management for all restaurant operations.
Set tables and stations; follow set-up checklists; take guest orders.
Serve all food and beverage items in a timely manner; ensure proper storage and handling of food and company equipment.
Complete daily shift operation reports and communicate all special guest requests to the kitchen.
Detail every table and menu before each meal period; assist with bussing and pre-bussing as needed.
Read and execute a Restaurant BEO form and maintain thorough knowledge of food, wine, and cocktail menus.
Exhibit a positive attitude and warm hospitality; follow the associate schedule and work assignments.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
Experience: 6 months of resort/restaurant casual dining experience is a plus; basic bartending and cashiering experience helpful.
Required: Valid driver’s license; motor vehicle background check will be completed.
Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with state regulations).
Must be 18 years old or older to hold this role, serving/selling alcohol in Florida.
Food Handlers Certification (must comply with state regulations).
Skills And Abilities
Fluent in English; ability to convey information clearly. Other languages are valuable.
Multitasking capabilities; initiative and proactive performance.
Resilience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments; maintains composure and objectivity.
Effective listening and clear communication with coworkers and guests; strong teamwork and grooming standards.
Adherence to proper uniform and footwear standards (slip-resistant, enclosed toe/heel).
Working Conditions Position requires standing, walking, bending, and stooping for prolonged periods. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. May work indoors and outdoors and in varied weather conditions.
Hours 40 hours per week, flexible schedule; weekends and holidays required.
