Position Title
Substitute Teacher
Brief Description Substitute teachers lead instruction in assigned classrooms in the absence of regular classroom teachers. Substitute teachers are responsible for helping students build knowledge and skills according to teacher‑planned lessons. Once hired, substitute teachers accept day‑to‑day assignments across all schools in the Ithaca City School District.

Required Qualifications
All candidates must possess New York State Teacher Certification OR a minimum 60 college credits.
