Under general supervision, the Welding teacher will prepare students to acquire welding techniques and be product verified with weldment testing. Students will develop a working knowledge of blueprint reading, and the welding processes for SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW with the use of thermal cutting equipment. Students will learn about the tools and equipment for the welding trade. Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 7:30–4:00. Salary
$50,651.00 – $84,636.03, placement based on education, experience, teaching, and certification. Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a welder. Welding Instructor must hold an AWS Certification. Ability to obtain an Arizona Department of Education Secondary or Career & Technical Education (CTE) Certification in the area of Industrial and Emerging Technologies. Valid Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card through Arizona Department of Public Safety. Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) if born after January 1, 1957.
