The HCA Healthcare Alaska Regional Hospital is looking for a PBX Operator to support the hospital’s communication needs. The position will support all hospital and surrounding facilities, maintaining emergency codes, on‑call rosters and contact lists with a professional and helpful attitude.

Job Summary and Qualifications PBX Operator will provide communication support for all hospital and surrounding healthcare facilities to support patient care. The role demonstrates a professional, helpful attitude in dealing with patients, visitors and physicians. The position is responsible for the processing of incoming and outgoing calls, maintaining specified logs of emergency codes, on‑call rosters and contact list functions with consistent customer focus and a team player attitude.
High school or GED preferred.
One year experience on a multi‑line switchboard preferred.
Organizational, follow verbal instructions, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
