Job Summary and Qualifications PBX Operator will provide communication support for all hospital and surrounding healthcare facilities to support patient care. They will demonstrate a professional, helpful attitude in dealing with patients, visitors and physicians. This position is responsible for the processing of incoming and outgoing calls, maintaining specified logs of emergency codes, on‑call rosters and contact list functions with consistent customer focus and a team‑player attitude.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
One year experience on a multi‑line switchboard preferred.
Organizational, follow verbal instructions, interpersonal and customer relations skills.
