As Needed Part‑time Instructor – Theater
Inside Higher Ed is seeking a part‑time theater instructor to teach courses at multiple Georgia Highlands College sites. This role reports to the Division Chair for the School of Humanities.
Location: GHC – Floyd Campus; GHC – Cartersville Instructional Site; GHC – Marietta Instructional Site; GHC – Paulding Instructional Site.
Responsibilities
Manage courses through systematic use of syllabi.
Keep accurate records of students’ class performance, attendance, and grades.
Adopt and implement common course objectives.
Attend part‑time faculty orientation prior to the beginning of the semester.
Participate in assessment of student learning outcomes.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree with 18 hours of graduate‑level theater courses.
Available to teach day, evening, or weekends at any of the Georgia Highlands College instructional sites.
Salary Salary determined by instructor part‑time pay scale.
