Electronic Technician – MET – SR. Electronic Technician CCA Manufacturing - 2nd shift
Support a Fortune 500 Aero Defense company as an Electronic Technician, performing test apparatus setup, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and quality verification to ensure high production standards.
Compensation Base Pay: $27.00/hr - $32.00/hr.
MUST BE A US CITIZEN (ITAR REQUIREMENT).
Responsibilities
Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of electronic assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
Lay out and assemble units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications.
Adjust and calibrate systems as required; correct malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components.
Use hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices to perform job duties.
Determine types of tests to be performed, approve and suggest modifications to testing equipment, and analyze test results to evaluate product and equipment performance.
Assist engineers in designing and developing test procedures for new products and recommend product improvements or manufacturing modifications.
Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures (when required).
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Solid State devices and micro‑circuitry.
Proficiency with measurement devices including Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, frequency Standards, signal generators, and RF Power Meters.
Ability to troubleshoot to the component level using schematic diagrams on analog and digital circuitry.
Capable of working in a dynamic production environment and meeting customer schedules.
US citizenship required (ITAR).
Solid experience with electronic test and troubleshooting in defense or aerospace manufacturing.
