Caring for and nurturing our youngest from 6 weeks until ready to move to our Ones program Engagements and interaction with children and families Planning activities to enhance and encourage development Reliable and consistent in attendance Maintaining a safe, clean and healthy environment Following children’s individual eating and sleeping schedules Willing to follow state licensing regulations
Requirements
Must have a minimum of 9 ECE credits including 3 in child growth and development CPR and First Aid certification Able to pass the state and FBI fingerprint and background check Must be willing to maintain 18 hours of Professional Development annually

About Us
Nellie's Treehouse is a family‑owned and operated child care/early learning center located on Route 101A in Amherst, NH. The program opened in 2000, serves children from 6 weeks to 5 years and has a licensed capacity of 69 students. Nellie's provides 5,000 square feet of indoor classroom spaces and sits on an acre of land. The goal of the school is to ensure the safety and well‑being of the children at all times and to encourage successful social, emotional, intellectual and physical growth and development throughout the early years. We acknowledge the importance of authentic partnerships with families as they are their child’s first teachers. We recognize each child as an individual and utilize developmentally appropriate,play‑based curriculum to promote independence and foster creativity. The center is open from 6:00am to 7:00pm and has an open door policy. Infants and Ones are provided diapers, wipes, spring water and whole milk. Twos, Preschool, Pre‑k and K are provided breakfast, lunches and 3 snacks.
