Job Responsibilities Join our team! Aiken Technical College is recruiting Computer Technology Adjunct Instructors.
Class schedules will vary from semester to semester. Classes may meet in the daytime, evenings, weekends, or online. Faculty may be asked to work a split schedule (morning and evening classes) as well as teach dual enrollment courses in assigned high schools.
Duties and Responsibilities
Instruction including hands‑on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks such as reports, syllabus and lesson plan development.
Prepare and/or maintain current course syllabi for courses taught.
Ensure that courses are taught in accordance with the established syllabi.
Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for courses.
Recommend adequate laboratory facilities/equipment for assigned courses.
Supervision of students.
Minimum and Additional Requirements Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline, or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Computer Science.
