Activities Aide
to join our team and bring joy, engagement, and enrichment to our residents in our
nursing home and long-term care community .
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys planning activities, working with seniors, and making a real difference.
Responsibilities
Plan, lead, and assist with daily recreational and therapeutic activities for residents in senior living, assisted living, or skilled nursing care.
Engage residents in group programs, crafts, games, music, and one-on-one visits.
Encourage participation while creating a welcoming, inclusive environment.
Assist residents with safe transport to and from activity areas.
Maintain accurate attendance and activity records.
Help with seasonal decorations, holiday programs, and special events.
Collaborate with the nursing and care teams to integrate activities into residents’ daily routines.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (required).
Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or senior activities (preferred).
Outgoing personality and strong communication skills.
Patience, empathy, and genuine respect for older adults.
Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must pass a Pennsylvania state background check.
