Yard Laborer – Day Shift
Location:
Spokane, WA
Pay Range:
$22.00 – $26.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overview We are seeking a reliable Yard Laborer to join our team. The Yard Laborer is responsible for maintaining a safe, organized, and functional outdoor work environment, operating various heavy machinery, and assisting with yard preparation and cleanup. This role is perfect for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, operating equipment, and keeping a workspace efficient and safe.
Responsibilities
Operate a variety of heavy machinery, including skid steers, forklifts, backhoes, grading machines, and packers
Maintain the yard by filling low areas, building up surfaces, and ensuring proper drainage where needed
Clean the yard by removing debris such as metal banding, scrap wood, and other materials
Assist other teams as needed with moving materials around the yard
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area at all times
Inspect and perform basic maintenance on equipment as needed
Qualifications
Prior experience operating heavy machinery (skid steers, forklifts, backhoes, grading machines, packers)
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and moving materials
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe, clean work environment
Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
