In this role, the Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of radiology procedures. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcomepatients/visitors/staff& assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include to assess patient condition, produce good quality radiographic images, & ensure adherence to safety standards.
This is a Per Diem position, covering Saturday shifts, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist.
Preferred Criteria
N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification
ARRT Advanced modality (ie. mammography, CT, MR, or special procedures) certification
Prior experience
Required Criteria
High School Diploma or GED
Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification
