In this role, the Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of radiology procedures, warmly greeting and welcoming patients, visitors, and staff, and assisting radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include assessing patient condition, producing high‑quality radiographic images, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
This is a Per Diem position covering Sunday shifts, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist.
Preferred Criteria
N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification
ARRT Advanced modality (e.g., mammography, CT, MR, or special procedures) certification
Prior experience
Required Criteria
High School Diploma or GED
Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification
Salary Range $60.00/Hourly
Note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse travel expenses.
