What You’ll Do As aLoan/Mortgage Auditor at Barrett, your job is to ensure every file aligns withfederal, state, investor, and internal requirements. You will play a key rolein supporting compliance, protecting quality, and helping maintain clean andcomplete loan documentation.
Your responsibilities include:
Auditing mortgage and loan files for compliance with regulatory and internalguidelines
Identifying, documenting, and reporting audit findings
Working with loan officers and compliance staff to resolve discrepancies
Maintaining audit logs and compliance tracking systems
Monitoring documentation standards and investor requirements
Assisting with regulatory audits and internal investigations
Scanning loan documents and maintaining digital records
What You Bring
At least 1year of experience in mortgage processing, underwriting, or auditing
Strongunderstanding of mortgage compliance regulations (CFPB, HMDA, RESPA, TILA)
Familiarity with loan origination systems and compliance software
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Strongattention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Preferred
Experiencewith internal audit processes in a financial institution
Knowledge of investor and secondary market requirements
This isa full-time, in-office role based in Chandler. You’ll work closely with ourcompliance and operations teams in a collaborative and supportive environment.
