The student assistant uses the web based circulation system to check library materials in and out, including materials on reserve. They respond to patron questions by directing them to the appropriate individual(s) or area(s). Other duties include re-shelving items, shelf-reading, assistant with floor printers/copiers, and ensuring library floors are neat and orderly. Additional duties are assigned as required.**Desired Skills:**Good interpersonal and communication skills; accuracy and attention to detail; basic computer skills; dependability**Requirements:**This is a Federal Work-Study position open only to Mercer University students who have been granted a work-study award.**Pay Rate:** $10.00 per hour; $0.25 raise each academic year**Scheduled Hours:**8**Start Date:**01/5/2026**End Date:**05/2/2026Student employees are vital to the success of Mercer University.
