Novellus Kingwood is seeking a personable full-time dishwasher to join our team. In this position, your primary duties for this role are maintaining clean dishes, kitchen prep area, food preparation equipment, and utensils.
Work Schedule/ Shift
Monday - Friday Compensation
Starting at $12/hour What you'll do
Wash all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers. Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas. Stock serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils. Clean trash receptacles with water or steam. Move dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using hand trucks. May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed. Ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred 1+ years experience preferred Basic math skills Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays Ability to lift, balance and carry up to 60 pounds Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently Must frequently immerse hands in water Prolonged periods of standing and walking Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment Ability to thrive in an active, noisy, and demanding environment
