About the Child The family has one infant daughter who will be approximately six months old when care begins. She is curious, sweet-natured, and beginning to explore the world around her. Care will focus on supporting her growth through consistent routines, age-appropriate and developmentally supportive play, and responsive, attentive caregiving.
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours
Approximately 20 guaranteed hours per week
Scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
Guaranteed hours are paid weekly regardless of usage
Primary Responsibilities
Provide nurturing, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care for one infant
Follow established feeding, nap, and daily routines
Engage the child in age-appropriate, curiosity-driven play and learning
Encourage early milestones through reading, singing, sensory play, and interaction
Prepare bottles and infant meals as needed (no cooking required)
Maintain cleanliness of child-related areas, including bottles, toys, and play spaces
Communicate clearly and consistently with parents regarding the child’s day, routines, and milestones
Parenting Style & Household Values The parents follow an authoritative parenting approach, emphasizing warmth, consistency, respectful boundaries, and clear communication. They value collaboration with their nanny and are seeking someone who aligns with their family values and approach to caregiving.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
3-4 years of professional experience caring for infants (nanny, daycare, early childhood setting, or similar)
Calm, patient, nurturing demeanor
Comfortable working in a home with remote-working parents
Strong communication and organizational skills

Childcare-focused role only (no household cleaning, errands, or driving)

Family employs a separate housekeeper
