**Pay:** **$25/hr + Overtime Opportunities**Waste Connections is looking for **safety-focused CDL Drivers** who have a passion for driving, career growth, and share our #1 Value: **Safety!** We are hiring **Residential Garbage Truck Drivers** to join our team in **New Port Richey, FL**.**Schedule*** **Monday–Friday** | Day shift starts at **5:00 AM*** Typical workday: **10–11 hours*** Every **3rd Saturday** for extra overtime* Full-time, year-round position (50–55 hours/week)**Position Summary*** Operate an **Automated Side Load Garbage Truck** on assigned residential routes* Safely and efficiently collect waste using automated lifting equipment* Perform **daily pre- and post-trip inspections** (fluids, tires, safety equipment)* Provide courteous and professional service to customers* Regular heavy lifting and climbing in/out of the truck required* Work outdoors in all weather conditions**Job Requirements*** **Valid Class A or B CDL License*** Minimum **2 years of work experience** with a stable work history (driver experience preferred)* Ability to lift **50+ lbs*** Garbage truck experience is a **PLUS*** Veterans are encouraged to apply**What We Offer*** **Competitive Pay: $25/hr + Overtime*** **Excellent Benefits**, including:
