Summer Camp Manager
Duties Include:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the summer camp program, including maintaining the daily schedules and activities, and supervising field trips
Manage planning blocks of daily activities for campers
Supervise and direct Summer Camp Counselors
Maintain program records and report daily to the Program Specialist-Programs regarding the management of the program, staff, and campers
Communicate and collaborate with camper caregivers to provide high-quality service and address any issues in a timely manner
Administer First Aid as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Age 18 or older at the time of hire
Some college coursework preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience working with elementary to middle school-aged children
Previous summer camp experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Hold, or have the ability to obtain, First Aid/CPR certification (provided upon hire)
Ability to work in a variety of settings including outdoors in summer weather conditions
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Must be available Monday - Friday, June 15 - August 7, 2026 for regular camp season and required pre-camp training to be scheduled
Salary Range
$17.00 per hour
