Harrison Elementary is a K-5 school in beautiful Harrison, TN, just outside of Chattanooga. Our staff works each day to engage and inspire the GENIUS within EVERY student. At Harrison Elementary, everyone—staff, students, and community members--is a leader and a learner. We leverage a team approach to problem solving that drives our Academic Press and Personalization commitments. We are "One Community. One Pride."
Harrison Elementary is on the move! We grow and achieve every day, and our work has been recognized by the State of Tennessee with a STEM Designation and the Governor's Seal for Civics.
We are looking for teachers and staff who are curious, hardworking, and always put students first. We provide loads of support for new staff while growing all leaders of learning.

Responsibilities
Plan, deliver, and assess effective instruction aligned to Tennessee state standards
Design engaging lessons with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
Collaborate regularly with colleagues and support staff
Build strong, respectful relationships with students and families
Create a well-managed, structured classroom environment
Participate in ongoing professional development and reflection

What We’re Looking For:
Positive, student-focused educators with strong content and classroom management skills
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
Committed to high expectations and academic achievement for all students
Open to feedback, coaching, and continuous growth
Experience in Title I or high-need school settings is a plus
Passion for supporting the whole child academically and socially
Qualifications Compensation & Additional Info:
Salary Scale based on education and experience – starting at $50,000.00
Eligible positions may qualify for additional pay under the Differentiated Compensation Plan
