Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities
Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer servicein accordance withdepartment and company standards and programs.
Responsible for ensuring compliancewith all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
Responsible for all pool rentals,including rafts, tubes, and lockers.
Responsible for keeping inventory on all lost and found items.
Ensures the overall safety of guests inpoolarea.
Maintains supplies and ensures inventory is stocked and ordered as needed.
Providesdaily rotations and breakschedulesas necessary.
Acts as communications center for guest calls, management, auxiliarydepartmentsand pool staff.
Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
Requirements Must be at least 16years of age.
One year of experience in customer service or a pool setting is preferred.
Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints, with particular attention to detail.
Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills and good public relations skills with a good personality, enjoying opportunities to work with andassistpeople.
Physical stamina and proper mental attitude to deal effectively with guests, management,vendorsand employees while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Must be able to withstand extreme sun & heat, cold, and inclement weather forlong periodsof time throughout the day.
Basic understanding of computers and use of software.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documentsin English, such as safety rules,operatingand maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructionsfurnishedin written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Employeemust be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal,stateand local regulations.
