Responsibilities
Exceptional attendance and punctuality
Accurately complete vehicle safety checks and report any issues
Comply with all traffic laws, and federal and state transit regulations
Interact professionally with customers, dispatch team and managers
Provide excellent customer service, answering questions about schedules, routes, transfer points, and delays
Promptly report vehicle maintenance, road and route concerns, accidents, and other traffic disruptions using two‑way radios or hands‑free devices
Additional duties and responsibilities may apply
Plug and charge the vehicle at end of day
Skills & Physical Demands
Use route navigation apps and other technology, including knowledge of area to pick up and drop off customers
Maintain electronic logs to track routes and incidents
Operate and drive without a break for a minimum period of one hour and forty‑five minutes
Drive in fluctuating weather and terrain
Work flexible scheduled outside of regular days and shifts, including split shift schedules
Lifting 45 pounds or more to assist with loading and unloading ADA passengers

Education & Qualifications
Hard Requirements:
Commercial driver’s license (A or B)
Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and background check
Preferred Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
At least 1 year of driving experience
