Summary Lead Housekeeper – Part‑Time, First Shift – BHCOR Environmental Service I Corbin, KY
Responsibilities
Day‑to‑Day Operations
Oversees shift start‑up/breakdown, linen distribution, and bed throughput
Delegates workflow and ensures coverage
Mentors and trains new team members
Continuous Improvement (20%)
Communicates with EVS Leadership on tools, equipment, and operational concerns
Attends huddles and committees to improve patient outcomes
Tracks inventory and orders linen supplies
EVS Competence (20%)
Demonstrates knowledge of healthcare cleaning/disinfection and safe chemical use
Cleans and disinfects patient rooms and common areas
Follows infection prevention practices and PPE protocols
Uses bed tracking system for timely room completion
Compliance & Quality (15%)
Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements
Conducts quality checks and corrects deficiencies
Represents department during audits and inspections
