Position Summary Crow's Bench restaurant is centered around farm to table alpine cuisine. Where we make our food from scratch. If you have a passion for global cuisine and a love for learning, this is the job for you. You will be responsible for food preparation, presentation and keeping a clean kitchen.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities

Prepares a variety of breads and desserts for the Crows Bench restaurant

Ensures all prep is done according to recipes and portion standards. Work in close liaison with chef and sous chef.

Cooking and Assembling Dishes - Cooks menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. Assembles dishes with attention to presentation and quality.

Maintains a clean and organized workstation.

Follows sanitation and safety procedures to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment.

Responsible for inventory and stock management by assisting in receiving and storing deliveries and alerting leadership when inventory stock is low.

Must be willing to work with both the Back of House and Front of House teams.

Specific Job Skills

License/Certifications - Idaho Food Safety Certification

Technical - None

Physical Capabilities - Able to stand/walk for whole shift, lift up to 50 lbs

Additional - Worksite is 100% inside and you will be exposed to fumes, odors, mechanical and burn hazards. All sensory skills needed. There is a possibility of outdoor work during summer. Operating outdoor grill.

Education/Related Experience

Minimum education required - English reading and writing plus basic math

Minimum time in related position - Some Restaurant kitchen and Pastry/Bakery experience required

Equipment and Safety/Protective Equipment Used

Non-Slip shoes required

Pants Required

Personal knives are encouraged
