We are looking for qualified Early Childhood staff for our preschool, Parish Day School of Eastern Shore Chapel, to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for preschool‑aged students that encourage the spiritual, cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth of the children. We are looking for responsible, enthusiastic, and trustworthy individuals to serve as:
Assistant Teachers
Floaters
Substitute Teachers
Lead Teachers

Duties
Maintain an open, friendly, and cooperative relationship with each child and family
Develop and implement age‑appropriate curriculum (lead teachers only)
Provide for the physical safety and well‑being of each child, from arrival to departure
Attend training sessions for professional and program development
Ensure licensing requirements are implemented
Requirements
Positive, reliable work ethic
Passionate about working with children
Meets/exceeds licensing requirements including: TB Test, Background Check, Documentation of citizenship, Physical ability to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations
High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Haves
Experience in early childhood education or related field
Hold CDS or other associate's degree or higher
Current First Aid/CPR Certification
Current Medication Administration Training (MAT)
