Position Details
CDL Holder:
$25.25 - $27.25 per hour (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement PayScale)
Non-CDL:
$18.75
Training pay – CDL Holder:
$25.25 with progression up to $27.25
Training pay – Non CDL:
$18.75
Night and Weekend shift differentials:
up $3 extra/hr
Benefits
Vacation: up to 160 hours per year for full-time employees
Paid Personal Days: 5 per year after probationary period
Holidays: 10 days; 9 standard and 1 floating
Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees.
Key Responsibilities
Execute flawless operations by following designated routes and schedules while adhering to stringent safety protocols and traffic regulations.
Provide exceptional care and assistance to passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
Champion vehicle safety with pre-trip and post-trip inspections, promptly reporting maintenance issues, and maintaining cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
Uphold company policies and procedures, including seat belt enforcement, emergency response preparation, and regulatory compliance.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
21 years or older
Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsement
Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Availability to work day, evening, weekend and overnight shifts as assigned
Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable
Physical Requirements
Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
Work outside in varying temperatures, weather, and humidity conditions; 100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces.
Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, lift material weighing up to 50 lbs with or without assistance, sometimes bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
