The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy – School Age Teacher (Fayetteville)
Pay Range: $14.00 – $17.00 per hour. Your rate will be based on skills and experience and may increase with additional education, performance, and tenure.
Location: 5770 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28311.
Position Overview Join a 50‑year legacy of nurturing children’s growth. As a School Age Teacher, you’ll create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment while implementing our award‑winning curriculum.
Teacher Responsibilities
Implement our award‑winning curriculum to meet each child’s unique learning style.
Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Document and share importance milestones with families using our app.
Encourage and model social behavior and expectations that are developmentally appropriate.
Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for all students.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
NCECC certificate preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Physical ability to bend, stoop, lift, and work while standing.
BSAC training required.
Previous experience as a teacher at a licensed childcare center required.
